Networking was between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. The meeting started with the invocation and Pledge.
Dinner, Introductions
Each member and guest introduced themselves and gave a 20 second promotional of their business or interests.

There was no discussion of prior meeting minutes or treasurer’s report. Meeting minute are available online.
Announcements
- Mary & Martha House has a car for sale. Contact them for information.
- Mary Ann Wilhelm’s final event is on Thursday. Please support it in any way you can.
- Bring Box Tops for Education to Dove Interiors
- Welcome to our newest member Shay Lawer from Brent insurance, specializing in Home and automobile insurance.
- Lynn Kesell is now also a new member
- Boxtops for Education – from cereal boxes, toys, soups. Drop off your items at Dove Interiors to help your local school. Please try to do so as soon as possible.
- Bobbie Rowe went to the National Convention and represented the Chapter.
- Mary Ann Wilhelm was a Top 10 nominee.
- We were designated as a “Best Practices” chapter.
- ABWA organizations around the country raised $17,000 with their “purses” promotion.
- Leaders Light the Way had very inspirational speakers. Hopefully you had an opportunity to attend.
- November 30th is the Wine Tasting for our chapter. We are accepting donations for gift cards. Trying for each person to sell five tickets for the event. Deb Adams and Rachel Mushow are going to head up this effort.
Program speaker
Our Program Speaker was Anne Madden who is on the 2010 Ballot for Hillsborough County Commissioner in District 1 and she gave a talk on Hillsborough County referendum topics.
- Hometown democracy, intends to take all plan amendments to the voters
- County Mayor
- Transportation referendum
