You Have a Date!
Don’t miss out! We will be meeting at Alpha House Pizza on Apollo Beach Boulevard in Apollo Beach for our March 17th Chapter meeting and since it is St. Patrick’s Day, you may want to wear something green. Come and network with our members at 5:45 p.m. and be prepared to spend 30 seconds telling us about yourself and your profession. What makes someone a great client for you? Perhaps someone else in the group knows someone who could use your services. This month’s speaker is Fitness Director, Edward Park who owns and operates Mustang Fitness here in the South Shore area. Remember to invite two guests!
The Great Bay Area Council
The council members will be helping serve refreshments at the Devil Rays’ games at Tropicana Field to raise funds. The first game is April 8th, 2008. Contact President Bobbie Rowe if you are interested in helping out.

Ruth Benoit announced her engagement and is flashing a beautiful white gold and diamond ring. Also Tatyana Svedja of Comfort Keepers has passed her citizenship test.
Alzheimer’s Association Event
Dolores Berens has tickets available for the Fashion Show to be held Thursday, March 13th at noon at Freedom Plaza. Call Dolores at 634-1418 for more information. There will also be a raffle for a set of pearl and diamond earrings.Ruskin Chamber After Hours Social
Thursday, March 13th is also the date of this event which will be co-sponsored by Penny Smith of H&R Block and Adelino’s Restaurant, in the Village Shoppes (the old K-Mart building in Ruskin.)Chapter Members and friends are cordially invited to attend at no charge. Adelino’s will be serving up great Italian food and if you haven’t yet sampled it for yourself, this is the perfect opportunity. April 4th is the date for this event which is showcasing any Ruskin business from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Booth spaces are available for $40. This is an inexpensive opportunity to show the community what you have to offer. Spaces are limited so contact the Chamber office if you are interested.Nominating Committee
At the March meeting we will be electing our Nominating Committee who will then have the responsibility of selecting a slate of eligible candidates for the chapter offices for the new year. At the May meeting, members will vote for the candidates.Woman of the Year
At the last meeting, members voted Pat Kaye as our Woman of the Year, and Mary Ann Wilhelm as the Top Ten Winner.WE’RE ON THE WEB!
