SOUTHSHORE CHARTER CHAPTER of the American Business Women’s Association Announces Special Scholarship

Ruskin, Florida- The SouthShore Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is funding a special scholarship through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund (SBMEF), the chapter announced today.  The field of study is not specified and the scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1000.
In order to be eligible for scholarship consideration, candidates must be women who: (1) are citizens of the United States and Florida; (2) will be college First Year level in Aug. 2009, having graduated from Earl J Lennard High School; (3) are attending or have been accepted at a licensed, accredited vocational/technical school or community college authorized to confer associate degrees; and(4) have achieved a cumulative grade point average 3 of GPA or better on a 4.0 scale.
